Loaded 3.12.2, getting "Can't find the font for subtitle. Aborting." error

On Windows XP SP3:

This is the second machine I've loaded DeVeDe on that has had this issue. The first machine I took the time to chase it down with FileMonitor (from the old SysInternals people), but I didn't document what I did. This time, I just don't have the time to do that.

Any theories as to what this might be caused by? devedesans.ttf is present in the C:\WINDOWS\Fonts directory, and is installed. I have vague recollections of this being part of the problem on the machine that DeVeDe works on.

font not found

I am getting the same error at DeVeDe startup resulting in the program abroting and not running. devedesans.ttf is no where to be found on my computer. I removed 3.12 and installed the newest testing release (so I can use imgburn for the ISO issues).

It is possible that %windir%

It is possible that %windir% path is set to something other then C:\WINDOWS.

It could be any number of possibilities.

There are a LOOOOT of possibilities.

It is very unlikely that the file is missing after the installation. Have you tried searching for it and then copying it to the path suggested by the app.

I've installed a 100 times and never had a single problem.

If this doesn't help, try giving a little more of detaills.

The ttf file was found in C:\Program Files (x86)\MajorSilence\DeVeDe
